Finn Corrigan, not to be outdone by his younger brother, partnered Donegal’s Emma Gunn to a form upsetting two set victory over the tournament favourites Rebecca Logan and Eoin Coney form Omagh. Finn then partnered Enniskillen’s Connor Donaldson to win the boys u14 doubles. A special mention also for Niambh Coulter who won the girls u10 on Wednesday.

The prizes were presented to the winners and runners-up in each category by Mr Richard Greenaway representing the tournament sponsors Balcas. Richard complimented the players on their achievement and encouraged them to come back again next year to ensure the competition continues to be a major event in the Fermanagh sporting calendar.

Cormac Jordan, tournament director, thanked all the backroom team of helpers who worked tirelessly in providing computer expertise, collection of entries, hospitality to visiting parents and all the numerous tasks that go on behind the scenes. He was particularly thankful for the generally good weather; well it didn’t rain much, and wished everyone a safe journey home.

John Slowey made a brief speech reiterating the gratitude of the players to all concerned and demonstrated his undoubted potential as the next tournament director.
