The club is governed by a clearly set out constitution which includes a grievance procedure and has specific policy statements on Equality and Child Protection. The club is affiliated to Tennis Ireland.
The club’s Children’s Officers are Brenda Davis and Charles Hutchings. The role of the Children’s Officers is to lead in the implementation of Child Protection Policies and Procedures.
Brenda also acts as Designated Officer to liaise with the Statutory Authorities in relation to the reporting of allegations or suspicions of child abuse.
- Best practice throughout the club is disseminated through its code of conduct, including the disciplinary, complaints and appeals procedures in operation within the club to all its members. The club’s codes of conduct are also posted in the clubhouse.
